Ruben O. De La Rosa

Ruben O. De La Rosa, 62, a resident of Kingsville, TX passed away on October 31, 2021 in Kingsville, TX.  

He was born on June 13, 1959 in Kingsville, TX to Santiago and Eufemia De La Rosa. 

He was a retired roofer with De La Rosa Roofing and Gallispe Roofing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Eufemia De La Rosa; one sister, Mary Jane Campos; one brother, Gilberto De La Rosa; and two nephews, Christopher De La Rosa and Nathan De La Rosa.

Survivors include two sisters, Diana D. (Mark) Kemp of Florida, and Elda D. (Don) Harding of Oklahoma; four brothers, Rolando (Rosie) De La Rosa of Kingsville, Santiago (Donna) De La Rosa, Roberto “Bobby” De La Rosa, and Javier De La Rosa, all of Kingsville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 6, 2021  at 10 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home of Kingsville, TX.
