Halloween is just around the corner, which means it is time for parents to start paying more attention to what their kiddoes are doing and presumably eating this Halloween season.

One of the great joys of growing up as a kid is the celebration of Halloween, where the imagination is allowed to wander and wonder and the emotions are heightened by the scary sounds of hoot owls and things that go bump in the night. We think this is one of the most wondrous times of the year, and we encourage everyone to embrace and participate in Halloween activities this year. We understand there are some COVID issues still out there, and we think parents and children alike must exercise good judgement on the activities and places they Trick or Treat or even Trunk or Treat. The CIty of Kingsvillle Police Department is once again holding their annual Trunk or Treat extravaganza. This year the event is moving to Dick Kleberg Park on Saturday night October 30. Last year, the event was held in the empty field adjacent to the KPD building on King Street.
