It’s 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night, and I’m standing behind the Main Stage at the Come and Take It Festival in Gonzales, Texas.

I’m waiting for Jackson Taylor, the Outlaw Country singer/songwriter who says and plays whatever is on his mind. Earlier that evening, Taylor had brought the large crowd in Gonzales to its feet because of his hard-driving outlaw country/rock and roll show. He was dynamic and sensational.
