The District 16-3A, Division I All-District list has been released and multiple athletes from both Bishop and Santa Gertrudis Academy earned first team honors.

For the Badgers, six athletes were named to the all-district first team.

Nic Hinojosa was named as the first team offensive guard and also earned the first team defensive tackle award.

He was the only athlete from Bishop to earn first team honors on both sides of the football.

Jordan Longoria earned a first team offensive tackle nod, along with a second team nod at defensive end.

Inside linebacker Zeke Guerrero earned a spot on the defensive first team, along with an all-district spot at full back on the second team.

Noe Pena joined Guerrero on the defensive first team at safety,  and also earned second team honors as an outside wide receiver. 

First team all-district utility/specialist was awarded to Cade Dupont, and Jose Huerta earned a spot on the first team all-district special teams unit.

Also joining the offensive second team were running back Isaiah Rodriguez, inside receiver A.J. Garza, center Juan Santana and offensive tackle Ocean Limas.

Inside linebacker Seth Bazan, outside linebacker Aaron Carrillo, safety Adam Gonzalez and cornerback John Cantu all earned spots on the all-district defensive second team. Honorable mentions were awarded to quarterback Nico Garcia, inside linebacker Joel Hernandez, defensive tackle Thomas Bearden, center Derrick Hickman and defensive end Emilio Pelagio to round out the awards for the Badgers.

For the Lions, Aidyn Cadena earned a spot on the all-district first team on both sides of the football as an offensive and defensive tackle for the second straight season.

Adrian Gonzalez earned a spot on the all-district first team as a specialist/utility player, Chris Cazares earned a spot on the first team as a punter and Jaeden Bijarro was named to the first team as a special teams player.

On defense, Willis Tinsley was named the first team outside line backer and Joel Guerra was named a first team safety.

Tinsley also earned second team outside wide receiver honors and Guerra earned honors at quarterback for the second team.

Offensive guard Noah Martinez, safety Jacob Espinoza and inside linebacker Bubba Lopez all earned a spot on the all-district second team.

Honorable mentions were awarded to offensive tackle Adam Perez, inside linebacker Anthony Ramirez, tight end Jacob Sanchez and defensive tackle Ke’Vonn Grant to round out the awards.
