HMK cheerleaders, mascot selected to All-American team

H.M. King High School cheerleaders Jordyn Barrera (left) and Isabella ‘Bella’ Gonzales (right) were recently selected to the Universal Cheerleaders Association All-American cheer team. The two All-American cheerleaders have been invited to perform with more than 800 All-American high school cheerleaders from across the U.S. in the world famous New Year’s Day Parade. All-American cheerleaders are chosen by judges on their athletic skills and cheer abilities and only the top 12-percent who attend the National and the Universal Cheerleaders Association Varsity camps earn the chance to perform in the London Parade spectacular. Makenzie Gottschalk (back) was selected as an UCA All-American mascot. All are invited to participate in the Thanksgiving Day Parade at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
